This coming weekend will see reigning Gulf 12 Hours champions return with a second exciting entry, with the team’s 2022 British GT pairing of Lewis Williamson and James Cottingham confirmed running with exciting youngster, Aaron Walker, for a final runout of the season. The trio will contest the Pro-Am class, alongside the previously announced line-up of reigning champions Sh. Isa Al Khalifa and Martin Kodrić, with Hunter Abbott joining them.

Lewis and James proved to be a formidable pairing in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 during their British GT championship drive. The duo scored two outright podiums, a pole position, and three further front row starts during the nine-race calendar. A pair of season-best 2nd-place finishes at Donington Park and Spa saw the Pro-Am line-up among the front runners for the championship, and were still in the title hunt until the final round. James, making his full season GT3 debut impressed throughout the season in both qualifying and races, while former McLaren Autosport BRDC Award winner Lewis showed his pace and experience with another stellar year.

Aaron rejoins the team in a GT3 car having made his competitive debut at the final British GT round of the year. Here, partnered with former series champion, Graham Davidson, the 16-year-old more than held his own, delivering a battling drive against a grid of seasoned professionals and highly experienced racers, to take 2nd place in class, and 8th overall, one place ahead of their teammates.

This driver line-up completes the entries for 2 Seas Motorsport, and the DK Engineering and Tailor-Made Designs branded Mercedes-AMG GT3 will run as number #51. As reigning champions, the Al Khalifa, Kodrić, Abbott entry competes as #1.

“James and Lewis were a great partnership throughout this season, and it is great to have them back in the car for one final run this season. James, in particular, really impressed in his debut season, and they proved themselves to be in the mix all year long, but were hit with more than their fair share of bad luck. I am also really pleased to see Aaron continue his journey with us, as he takes on this next big challenge. We have been working with him all year, and he has really shown strong speed and knowledge, especially for someone still very new to GT racing. It will be great to see him in the car alongside James and Lewis, taking part in such a high-profile race, and I am looking forward to seeing what the three of them can achieve together.”
